Our spiritual health is more important than our physical health. Do we even realize that sin is a disease, a spiritual one?
What is sin? Lawlessness
“Everyone who practices sin also practices lawlessness – indeed, sin is lawlessness.” – 1 John 3:4 TLV
And the Law (Torah)?
“So then, the Torah (Law) is holy, and the commandment is holy and righteous and good.” – Romans 7:12 TLV
In future posts, we will go deeper – looking at sin in general and specific sins and how they affect our spiritual and physical lives. Also looking at whether or not we should obey God’s laws – how following or not following them affects our physical and spiritual wellness.
I will leave you with this one last scripture to think about –
“He who has My commandments and keeps them is the one who loves Me. He who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and reveal Myself to him.” – John 14:21 TLV
PS. I want to say that this is mainly directed at those of us who are already believers.
For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not from yourselves—it is the gift of God. It is not based on deeds, so that no one may boast. – Ephesians 2:8-9 TLV
