father of lies.png

Scripture Focus: You are of your father the devil, and you want to do the desires of your father. He was a murderer from the beginning and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. Whenever he speaks lies he is just being himself—for he is a liar and the father of lies. – John 8:44 TLV

The truth isn’t popular these days – we are all sinners from the moment we are born.

For I was born a sinner— yes, from the moment my mother conceived me. – Psalm 51:5 NLT

For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. – Romans 3:23 HCSB

So then, just as sin came into the world through one man and death through sin, in the same way death spread to all men because all sinned. – Romans 5:12 TLV

Through God’s gift of salvation through Yeshua (Jesus Christ), we have been set free from sin, but…

Does that stop satan from whispering lies to us? NO! He will lie to us every chance he gets! Why? Because he is a liar!

So what kind of lies does he speak to you?

Is it those sweet little lies

the lies that keep you so full of fear?

They both will destroy you – because satan only wants to steal, kill and destroy (John 10:10).

As believers in Jesus (Yeshua) we have been set free from satan’s lies yet it seems so many of us still listen to him. We have to shut satan out and stop listening to his lies.

Therefore submit to God. But resist the devil and he will flee from you. – James 4:7 TLV

Listen to God’s truth! I shared the first part of John 10:10 – that satan comes to steal, kill and destroy BUT…

Yeshua (Jesus) came so that we might have life and have it abundantly!

So, I guess the real question is…

Have you accepted God’s gift of salvation?

If yes, YAY!!!

If not, what are you waiting for – this offer does have an experation date – your death.

For if you confess with your mouth that Yeshua is Lord, and believe in your heart
that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart it is believed for righteousness, and with the mouth it is confessed for salvation. – Romans 10:9-10 TLV
