Amazing to see God’s glory through His creation – and for me – He speaks His loudest to me through the beautiful ocean.
But ask the animals, and they will teach you, or the birds in the sky, and they will tell you; or speak to the earth, and it will teach you, or let the fish in the sea inform you. Which of all these does not know that the hand of the Lord has done this? In His hand is the life of every creature and the breath of all mankind. – Job 12:7-10 NIV
O Lord, what a variety of things you have made! In wisdom you have made them all. the earth is full of your creatures. Here is the ocean, vast and wide, teeming with life of every kind, both large and small. – Psalm 104:24-25 NLT
It is such a blessing to be able to spend 2 weeks at the beach with my Mom. We are staying in a beach front condo and I can sit in the livingroom and look out to the ocean. We have spent almost every day checking out thrift stores and consignment stores at North Myrtle Beach, SC – Calabash, NC – Sunset Beach, NC – Ocean Isle Beach, NC – Shalotte, NC – and Southport, NC. It has been such a blast meeting different people and finding beautiful treasures. Of course, the best treasure has been spending so much time with my very sweet and very energetic mother! She is a scream!
I still see some of the damage from Hurricane Matthew and seeing the clean up take place. Amazing to see such beauty after so much turmoil.
We leave here on Saturday and I’ve been trying to figure out how to take the ocean home with me 🙂
And as a friend of mine told me, I have to carry it in my heart. And let’s be honest, I only live 3 1/2 hours away so compared to so many others the ocean is practically in my backyard.
His feet were like burnished [white-hot] bronze, refined in a furnace, and His voice was [powerful] like the sound of many waters. – Revelation 1:15 AMP
Anyway, as I listen to the ocean – I feel as if God is speaking to me and what a lovely conversation!
